Groomer

Asia has been the skilled groomer at Animal Care Center of Buffalo Grove since 2021. After completing cosmetology school, she found her way into grooming and quickly fell in love with the craft. Her passion for animals and creativity keep her motivated, even when the job can be physically demanding.

While she truly loves every breed of animal, Asia has a soft spot for grooming dogs with nice lines, like Yorkies, Schnauzers, and Westies.

At home, Asia’s love for animals is evident in her menagerie, which includes English Bulldogs (Moses, Coco, Indie, and Misha), French Bulldogs (Panda and Tank), Scarlett (a Basenji-Pit mix), Jeeves (a Chihuahua), Twinkle (a Maltese), Tony Montana (a cat), Jack and Jenny (donkeys), Ozzie (a pot-bellied pig), and Nelly and Dante (Conure parrots).

In the future, Asia dreams of opening her own sanctuary to provide care for abused, senior, and abandoned animals of all kinds. She’s especially passionate about Highland Cows and hopes to have a few one day. She also aspires to teach children and others about the importance of kindness to animals.

When she’s not busy grooming or caring for her many pets, Asia enjoys traveling and indulging in her love for animals in every way possible.
