Groomer

Daniel has been a dedicated Groomer for Animal Care Center of Barrington since 2022. Motivated by his love for the animal kingdom, Daniel initially studied veterinary medicine at the University of Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. With decades of experience as a veterinary assistant, he discovered a new passion in grooming:

 

"Pet grooming is an art requiring shaping and molding to each individual, as no two pets the same."

His favorite pets to groom include Poodles, Schnauzers, Bobtails, Doodles, Bichons, and Coton De Tulears. However, Daniel’s love for animals extends to all breeds, and he’s always eager to provide expert grooming for any dog or cat he has the pleasure of working with.

At home, Daniel shares his life with Kenya, his 15-year-old canine companion, two canaries, and six Gouldian finches. In his free time, he finds joy in life's simple pleasures: breeding his birds, listening to their songs, admiring their vibrant colors, and observing the serene world within his fish tank. He also enjoys bicycling, walking with Kenya, swimming, and watching movies. Daniel’s expertise makes him an invaluable part of our team- putting beauty, health and a unique touch to each pet that walks through the door.
