Jenna Butler, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Jenna Butler earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2023. She then completed a one-year Animal Rotating Veterinary Internship at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin- finishing the program in July 2024 and joining our team in August. Her journey to veterinary medicine began in childhood, fueled by her love for animals and experiences caring for pets and wildlife. From rescuing baby birds to participating in FFA, shadowing veterinarians, volunteering at shelters, and working with calves on a Wisconsin farm, every step reinforced her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

At home, Dr. Butler and her fiancé share their lives with Beanie, a playful and mischievous one-year-old grey cat they adopted in November 2024. Affectionately known as their "food demon," Beanie spends her days scheming new ways to sneak extra snacks around the apartment. In her free time, Dr. Butler enjoys hiking, biking, skiing (both alpine and cross-country), traveling, and watching football with her fiancé. Together, they cheer for the Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills.

A few fun facts about Dr. Butler: she’s a twin, every member of her immediate family has a name starting with "J," and she’s ambidextrous. Her guilty pleasure is a sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle from McDonald’s (isn't it everyone's?) Dr. Butler is excited to bring her dedication and passion for animal care to her patients and their families.
