Veterinarian

Dr. Mei-Jyun Ciou earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at National Taiwan University of Veterinary Medicine and became a new member of our Animal Care Center team in 2024. Her inspiration to become a veterinarian stems from a blend of scientific curiosity and passion for animals. 

 

Her most memorable case throughout her experience as a Veterinarian was a senior golden retriever named "Chubby," who was battling thyroid cancer. Chubby's unwavering patience and loving nature, —always wagging his tail and leading life with joyful enthusiasm served as an inspiration and reminder of the profound impact veterinary care has on animals and ourselves.

At home, Dr. Ciou is the proud owner of a domestic short-haired cat named Dabao. In her free time, she enjoys biking, camping, and spending time outdoors, especially walking the trails of national parks. Dr. Ciou brings a unique blend of compassion, technical expertise, and dedication to our team!
