Veterinarian

Dr. Michelle Golz earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing with Animal Care Center since 2020. She has advanced training in abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds, bringing additional expertise to her care for pets.

 

Dr. Golz's passion for science and her desire to help others inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. One of her most remarkable cases involved helping a bald eagle with a broken wing, an experience she found both challenging and deeply rewarding.

 

At home, Dr. Golz enjoys the company of her two cats, Jack and Ginger, and her Labrador Retriever, Libbie. Her hobbies include solving word puzzles, knitting, and participating in trivia competitions. A fun fact about Dr. Golz: she once had the honor of marching in an inaugural parade. Dr. Golz continues to bring vital spirit and compassion to our team!
